Five canapes and finger food you can prepare the day before your party

Snacks and nibbles are an essential part of a party. If you are planning to throw one, you know that this is one of the major concerns.  Serving the best bites in your party are important to a successful event. Let´s take a look at five canapes and finger food for you to prepare and have ready the day before the event.

Salmon and cucumber twists

These ones will make your partygoers go nuts.  They are a nice delicatessen and will just vanish off the plate in seconds.  You can make any classic combination with some panache.  Wrap the cucumbers slices with beetroot-cured salmon.   For better results, you can dollop on some fancy cream or cream cheese.

Cheeseboard sticks

Super easy to prepare. You can add some pieces of strawberry and squares of pineapple with the traditional cheeses.  These sticks will be the sensation of your party and guaranteed to disappear. Serving them cold will give you better results.  This is the fun way cheese and fruit can be combined.

Mozzarella bites and Parma ham

This party classic should not take you any more than 10 minutes.  This is also pretty much the time they will take to disappear from the party tray.   Preparing them is very easy and fun.  Simply put slices of the ham on a surface. To each slice of ham, add some diced tomato, seasoning, and shredded mozzarella. Roll each ham slice, and place them on a baking sheet in the refrigerator. Before you serve them, slice each roll into bite-sized pieces and place each on a cracker.

Strawberry cheesecake pots

This dessert is easy to prepare and will put a smile on your guests. In small fruit cups, start with a layer of sweet crunchy biscuits, add a layer of Greek yogurt, and finally a layer of strawberries. Top with a dollop of whip cream.

Ham bites with asparagus

Spread a light layer of cream cheese on each slice of cooked ham. Place a whole asparagus stem in the middle of each slice of ham and roll it up. Slice the ham tubes into bite-sized pieces.
